Conrad Murray Can't Afford His Own Lawyer!!
Rough times for Conrad Murray.
The doctor who was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson case is now unable to afford his own lawyer.
Even though, there was a time in his life where he earned up to $150,000 a month to act as MJ's doctor, it looks like Conrad is now broke as he has asked the court to appoint him a public defender to help him appeal his conviction.
He filed a notice appeal to the LA Superior Court on Tuesday.
And it looks like he's getting the not-so-friendly treatment in jail. His former lawyer saw that police had put him in handcuffs and leg chains and even handcuffed him to the table for their meeting, which is something that non-violent offenders have to experience.
The lawyer said:
"It is crazy and unbelievable how [the sheriffs] are treating [Murray].Well, actually, he did more than just "make a mistake," but it's true, he probably doesn't deserve to have that kind of treatment behind bars.
Treating him like Hannibal Lecter is offensive. This man who saved lives made a mistake, and they're going to [make] him pay like a mass-murderer."
We bet Conrad would have never imagined he would eventually be in this situation
